Devil’s Claws
“Devil’s Claws” quilt block intertwined with a Clematis flower. Some say during the Victorian era, the Clematis was referred to as the “Devil’s darning needle” due to its toxicity and its cleverness in its ability to climb any surface. Printed on soft, textured Rives B.F.K. paper with a cool-toned, purple/gray ink.
Paper Size: 10” x 10”
Image Size (including signature): 9” x 9”
Linocut: Hand carved, printed, and signed.
